I have been confused this last week on how to fit my practise into one of the four essay themes. Having a tutorial with Carl helped me find a title which combined both my practise and the theme of Realism. Now having a title, I can make a start on the 1000 word essay, however I am also struggling to find artists relevant to my practise before the 1980's as the term relational aesthetics (which is almost identical to m practise) and the majority of the artists related to that term are from the 1990's onwards. This will be my main task for next week along with creating proposals for installations a mini-installation spaces to accompany them (made out of cardboard boxes to show proposals for larger artworks), these installations will also be filmed and photographed for documentation.

BA2 Week Two Summary
Unfortunately in this week I was ill so could not attend the Hybrid workshops so instead focused on researching the Sociological and Psychological aspects of my practise along with researching senses (a key part to my most recent ideas) I am struggling to find a way to actually "visually create" my proposals for art pieces. As I do not have enough studio space nor space at home. Although as I am not currently creating any actually art pieces I worry this will affect my assessment as I will not be able to effectively produce a piece.

BA2 Week One Summary
For the first week of BA2 we had our first Hybrid workshop, unfortunately I had wanted to choose Sculpture but there was no places left on the workshop so I was sorted into Hybrid which focuses mainly on video, sound etc. Apart from having to leave early I enjoyed some of the propositions like "taking un unexpected walk" however I felt this wasn't really relevant to what I want to produce in my practise.
